In the final stage of Alzheimer's, dementia symptoms are severe. Individuals lose the ability to connect with their environment, understand themselves, and, eventually, control their egos. They may still say words or phrases, but the energy flow is completely disrupted. Significant personality changes may occur as memories and reality slowly fade.

TJO on the inspiration for his work

"I wish to explore a surrealist approach of post-photography inspired by Deborah Turbeville and Frank Ockenfels; where figurative forms, dreamlike spaces and a physical and digital interdisciplinarity open a door to the feeling of obsessions. These digital, analog or performative components serve as a support to visualize internal psychological processes and the dreamscapes that emerge from them. I aim to offer immersive experiences where '…we see a photographic material, not just an image.'" - TJO
