That same evening, Samaha enthusiastically picked up the camera from the factory and took it home, unveiled it to his friends who had come over for dinner, one of whom himself a photographer, and without making much ado of this extraordinary moment, took the very first digital photograph of humans, in this case, a young couple looking at themselves in a small monitor in a “Digital Storage Unit” tethered to a digital camera, which a millisecond before captured the same image that is being offered as an NFT.
