VERTIGO by Heavy J
VERTIGO - Heavy J - 40x60" - Oil on Recycled Flour Sack - 2020 Heavy J was born in 1975 in a town called Pokuase in the greater Accra region. He first started painting signs at an early age under the guidance of the artist Ras Portey. The famous Bombay Video Club quickly took notice of his gift and offered him a job, so by age 17 he was already painting movie posters that set him apart as one of the most talented artists in the genre. He paints night and day! But when he's not painting, Heavy J enjoys reading the bible and playing drums.
