From a larger collection of aerial photographs, Dramatic Earth 1 was photographed above The Grand Canyon with an analog camera in 2017. BIO: Ruvan Wijesooriya makes photographic and experiential artwork to awaken the senses and challenge reality in both finite and expansive time and space. In 2016, he was nominated for The Henri Cartier-Bresson Documentary Prize; in 2019, he made a physical and virtual galactic art space for Virgin. He's shown work in galleries including The Hole and museums such as FOAM. Ruvan’s art clients range from Ed Ruscha and Doug Aitken to Apple, Renzo Piano and LCD Soundsystem.
