Standing in the Sky

A figure stands in what it thinks is the sky. For the entirety of its life, it has discovered, felt, enjoyed the aromances from every living thing to objects of the Earth. However, it has only observed the everchanging scenery above. As the figure nears its life's end, it takes one final effort to feel the skyscape above.
