Quarter to Death
I selected 'Hunger' cause to create my artwork around. Between 2020 and late 2022, Ethiopia experienced the biggest war in the world, which occurred in a small region called Tigray in the northern part of the country. This war has resulted in the loss of millions of lives. The majority of deaths were caused by hunger caused by man-made famine. The combatants in this war were preventing food from reaching civilians in the region where the war was raging. Man-made hunger and famine are still a problem around the world that we should pay attention to. Let this art work serve as a reminder of the issues that can be prevented, such as hunger, which is causing deaths.
