The series of works titled "Apollon" by the artist TJO is a profound and symbolic exploration of the abysses of the human mind. TJO materializes the psyche's dark and often unexplored inner dialogues through immersive spaces bathed in deep blue. Giving much more space to photography in his process, he tries to find balance between Apollonian and Dionysian art.

TJO on the inspiration for his work
"I wish to explore a surrealist approach of post-photography inspired by Deborah Turbeville and Frank Ockenfels; where figurative forms, dreamlike spaces and a physical and digital interdisciplinarity open a door to the feeling of obsessions. These digital, analog or performative components serve as a support to visualize internal psychological processes and the dreamscapes that emerge from them. I aim to offer immersive experiences where '…we see a photographic material, not just an image.'" - TJO
TJO's "la confession d'un ange" and "mon sanctuaire" were displayed during The Artcrush World Tour exhibition, which showcased digital art in 10 cities worldwide using DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) advertising.

A poem to accompany "mon sanctuaire"
why can't I stay here in my sanctuary profaned by all that passed by nobody wants to hear how can I patch the holes in these sacred blue walls everyone wants to use and leave them nobody wants to know if all that is left will you also abandon me my sun, my lion sacred beings of energy I'm scared they take but do not listen
